In my previous post on recently launched Itel Marshmallow devices, I highlighted the technical specifications of the Itel S11 and 1513 . I also dropped a hands-on review of the Itel it1513 . Itel has some other entries in the Marshmallow family (I believe it’ll take a while before we see a Nougat); the it1511, it1512, it1518 and it1520 which we’ll be taking a look at.

Verdict
There’s been a noticeable change / improvement in these releases compared to the tradition specs. The Itel it1520 is one to look out for (camera-wise). Itel seems to be heading in the right direction and I’m glad. I’m however somewhat disappointed in the 2,500mAh battery which Itel has stubbornly stuck to. I doubt that power efficiency has improved much so battery life might still be a sour point.
I’ve not been able to verify the Chipsets all these phones are powered by but I won’t be surprised if all are Mediatek powered as Itel seems to be paddling hard in that direction .
